Career & Job Placement at IVC

The Career & Job Placement Center is happy to assist currently enrolled students with each step of your job search in a variety of ways. IVC Alumni are also welcome to make appointments for assistance.

Our center utilizes current technology and information to support students in the job hunting process. The Career & Job Placement Center is also a source of great information about careers, majors, job statistics, and open job opportunities.

Vision Statement

Our focus is to lend assistance to students in their career development and to transition them from college life into productive employment. It is with this focus that we design, coordinate and implement career services and activities for the students at Irvine Valley College.

College Central Network logoCollege Central Network is Irvine Valley College's Job Posting Site. This site is where full-time, part-time, and internship opportunities will be posted by local employers. Students and Alumni can post resumés, create online portfolios, and look for jobs. If you have questions about the College Central Network, please email or call the Career Center at (949) 451-5268.

Instructions for Employers: Visit www.collegecentral.com/ivc and click on the Employers link. Complete the online registration to receive your password. Accounts are approved Monday through Friday during our business hours. Once your account has been approved, you will be able to post jobs and internships online.

Instructions for Students: Visit www.collegecentral.com/ivc and click on the Students​ link. Create your profile using your student ID number. If you need assistance searching for jobs, posting a resume, or using any other service, email, call or visit the Career Center.
