IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING COUNSELING SERVICES: The campus is closed until further notice, counseling services will only be available by phone or virtually.

Counseling Center Summer Hours
Monday - Thursday: 8 am - 7 pm
Thursday: 8 am - 5 pm
Saturday & Sunday: CLOSED

Counseling Center Fall Hours
Monday - Thursday: 7:30 am - 6 pm
Friday, Saturday & Sunday: CLOSED

Cranium Cafe Hours
Monday - Thursday: 10 am - 4 pm
Friday, Saturday & Sunday: CLOSED



Counseling services are offered in the following ways:

Speak with a Drop-in Counselor Virtually
Counselors are available virtually Monday – Thursday from 10:00am – 4:00pm through Cranium Café *You do not need to be a student to use this system.



Call Back by Phone
Counselors are available to call students back Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 6:00pm. Call 949-451-5319 and leave a voicemail with your name, student ID number, and the best number to reach you at.  Calls will be returned within 1-2 business days.

Request a Counseling Appointment
During the months of June – August, counseling appointments are limited to students who have transcripts from another college that need to be evaluated or have a hold on their account. Visit this webpage to request a counseling appointment.



The Irvine Valley College Counseling Center provides counseling services to help students with a variety of academic, career, and personal concerns. The counseling faculty assist s students in clarifying their needs, making decisions, setting goals and dealing effectively with personal obstacles. The relationship between the student and counselor is confidential.
