Q: Will the DSPS office be open during their regular department hours?

A: Yes, but we are offering all services remotely, as the campus is closed.
Monday- Thursday 8 am - 7 pm
Friday:8 am - 5 pm

Q: Will I be able to request and utilize my DSPS accommodations?

A: Yes, approved accommodations remain the same, but some may be modified due to the closure of the campus.

Q: How do I schedule an appointment with DSPS?

A: You can call the DSPS Office and leave a voice message at (949)451-5630 or email to schedule a phone or video appointment. Staff will respond to your message within 24 hour business hours.

Q: Is the DSPS Testing Center (DTC 1) still open?

A: No, DTC1 is currently closed.

Q: How will I receive my testing accommodations with DTC 1 closed?

A: Coordinate all test proctoring services with your instructor one week prior, for each of your exams. Email your instructor through their preferred contact method (i.e. Canvas, Email, etc.) with your IVC Accommodation Form and request your approved testing accommodations.�

Q: Priority registration dates are being changed. Does this mean I lose my priority?

A: Dates are changing, but you will still receive priority registration if you were already eligible.

Q: Do I still need to schedule a Semester Check Appointment to update my accommodations for the 2020-2021 academic year?

A: Yes, if you have not yet updated your accommodations, you still need to schedule a phone or video appointment with a DSPS Counselor. The 2020-2021 academic year begins at the start of the summer semester.
