Mental Health Services
IVC's Health and Wellness Center is staffed with professional and caring mental health professionals who can assist students individually or in group sessions. Appointments are currently being conducted remotely via Zoom. Please contact the HWC to set up an appointment or to find out more about our group sessions and workshops.
Notice to Students: California State Laws for licensed therapists require you to be present in California for any therapy appointment. We cannot provide any therapy sessions with anyone who is traveling or outside of California.
Our Mental Health Therapists
Stacy Lavino, MS, LMFT
Stacy Lavino is a licensed therapist who has been working in the community college setting for over 10 years and absolutely loves working with this population. She is the full-time Mental Health Therapist at IVC and is available Monday-Friday for counseling needs. Stacy specializes in helping students cope with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, adjustment issues, and grief & loss. She does individual short-term counseling focusing on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). She also can assist in providing referrals for long-term counseling (insurance, free or low-cost) as well as referrals to doctors for those with medication needs. Stacy also works in an interdepartmental capacity and can help guide students to utilize resources from various student services departments at IVC.
Jacob Lampe, MSW, ACSW
Jacob Lampe is a Psychotherapist who can assist with reducing anxiety and stress to live a more fulfilling and harmonious life. Jacob uses an eclectic approach; mental health education, client-centered therapy, and empathetic listening to build strong client relationships, educate, and provide healing. He believes that when you learn, you can then heal, and grow. Jacob leads the “Mindfulness Mondays” workshops.
Lauren Consul, JD, LMFT
Lauren Consul is a licensed marriage and family therapist providing mental health education workshops. The workshops range in topics and helps students, faculty, and staff to empower themselves to learn about and take ownership of their mental health. Here at IVC, Lauren is available for additional customized workshops, in an as needed basis, for faculty, staff, and students. Anna Spencer-Lonetti, MS, LMFT
Anna Spencer-Lonetti is a licensed therapist who has been working in the community college setting for 8 years. She is currently working part-time at both IVC and Cypress College as a Mental Health Counselor. Additionally, Anna works with peer to peer support groups to help reduce stigma of mental health on campus. She specializes in mindfulness practices to help teach students how to better manage their stress as well as helping students cope with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, adjustment issues, and grief & loss. She does individual short-term counseling focusing on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution focus to help her students reach their counseling goals.
