Outreach & Community Relations:

High School Outreach

Outreach staff members deliver IVC brochures and program information to local schools.

We visit area high schools and talk to students about the benefits of attending community college at IVC. We also welcome the opportunity to tell parents why IVC is a great choice for their college-bound child.

Call us to arrange a visit to your school. We will tailor a presentation to suit your specific needs.

  • IVC Presentations: Outreach staff offer general presentations to student groups about IVC and our Freshman Advantage program for graduating seniors.
  • Student/Parent Presentations: Outreach staff will provide information about California Community Colleges, transferring from IVC to four-year institutions and IVC’s Freshman Advantage program.
  • College Fairs: IVC Outreach staff will set up an information booth with key information for parents and students of all ages.
  • IVC Outreach Staff are happy to set up a table at your school during lunch hours. Students are welcome to drop in to get general information and pick up college brochures or ask questions about the admission process.
