Pride Scholars Program
The Pride Scholars program supports LGBTQIA+ students in the form of counseling and multicultural programs that foster a safe space so that LGBTQIA+ students can thrive and be academically successful.
Our program offers one-on-one academic, personal, and career counseling, Pride Scholars program scholarships, and LGBTQIA+ club support. We also offer programs and activities, such as National Coming Out Day (October), Pride Celebration (June), Lavender Chats (discussion group), and more!
Conversations with Brett
Feel like connecting with someone at IVC, but not sure where to start? We invite you to virtually pop in for "Conversations with Brett" every Monday through Thursday, 10 am to noon. Join longtime Gender and Sexuality Alliance (GSA) Club Advisor Professor Brett McKim for a chat about IVC, identity, or whatever is happening in your world. This isn’t counseling, just connection and conversation with someone who cares. We are glad you are here with us at IVC. For more information, email Brett McKim.
Join our discussion group on the fourth Tuesday of each month, where IVC LGBTQIA+ students can enjoy a safe space to discuss their unique issues and concerns. Registration required.
If you require an accommodation, please contact Disabled Students Programs and Services at least three business days prior to the event at 949-451-5630 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
